"Stranger at my Gym"

#PokemonGO: To provide some backstory, I typically take my local gym out at night to collect my coins before the morning. My local gym has a pretty regular schedule where I own it at night/early morning and then my mystic overlords take back over during the day collecting their fill before I reset them and process begins again. Because of this, its rare for me to run into anyone who is not about to immediately boot me from the gym which is why I usually go later at night to do my stealth take over.Fast forward to the action, I go to my local gym as usual (This time in my car) and start taking on the 6man maxed Blissey, Snorlax, Vaporean, Tyranitar, etc you get the idea its not a walk in the park. This is the same dance that we do everyday, almost always the same 6 people with similar combinations of pokemon making me earn my spot in the gym. After battling two rounds and getting them nice and low, I go in for the knock outs and realize many of them received Golden Razz Berries boosting them back up to full. For anyone that has been through this before you know that whoever is watching could make your life a living hell if they choose to. I take a deep breath, heal up my pokemon and go back in hoping to win this war of attrition.At this point, the only thing I can think of is all of the horror stories I have read on this sub about people showing up pissed when someone is taking their gym. Luckily I am in my car which normally is not the case so I keep minding my own business hoping they eventually go away or run out of berries before I run out of potions. I jump back into to see what I am up against and notice soon after that a 2 shows up at the top of my screen. Since I normally raid solo, I thought it was a bug until I realized another person was doing damage and actually helping me!! Attacking together, we made quick work of the gym before any more berries showed up. We each put our pokemon in and drove away without saying a word (mostly because I was still in shock and to shy to make contact). This was hands down the best part of my day and it was an event created by an absolute stranger that I have never met before. Thank you random person, I hope we cross paths again and I can do the favor of helping you the next time the gym needs to be taken over!If anyone has a similar positive story, please share it I hope I am not the only one who has had a stranger make their day while playing this game! Also, thank you Niantic for making such an awesome game where these experience are possible after all of the new updates since launch.As a side note, Niantic, please make it possible to add someone as your friend if you share a gym together!!! I tried to find this stranger via my local discord groups, but did not have any luck most likely because they are new or just starting to play again.
