"I almost got robbed at gunpoint today"

#PokemonGO: It all happened really fast. I got out of my stats class and saw that there was a ho oh raid a few blocks from campus. After beating it, I started walking back towards campus. A guy on a bike rode passed me, circled around, and tried to talk to me. He took off his backpack and showed that inside he had a gun and said if i "helped him out" with some money he wouldn't hurt me. I was just kind of shocked, like, "is this actually happening?" I just made some excuses like I was late to my class and started walking towards where there were more people. I had my phone in hand because I was playing pogo and immediately dialed 911 and started talking loudly to get others to hear. The guy ran off in the other direction when he heard I was calling 911. He didn't get anything from me, and mos importantly I wasn't hurt, just shocked.​I guess the moral of the story is to be more aware of your surroundings and to always travel with a buddy. Sorry if this story is a little short, I'm just still trying to process what just happened.
