"Niantic plz: why is the nearby Pokemon radar so bad?"

#PokemonGO: Why do pokestops 500m away take precedence over Pokemon 10m away? Why, if there are more than 3 pokestop-related mons on the radar, the nearby list disappears completely? My house is near a few churches and all the stops are on private property so it's not like I can go cap and clear those either. I spent 15 minutes tracking a Pokemon that I never even found because the tracking system is so inadequate. Why can't we ignore pokestop mons? Why can't we just ignore any Pokemon on the tracker and make it go away? Why can't we have a separate page for pokestop Pokemon and nearby Pokemon?I just came back to this game 3 weeks ago after a 2 year hiatus and while at first I thought the pokestop tracking was neat, it's really starting to grind my gears. I want to be able to track Pokemon near my house and if I see something, go out and find it. But I can't because the nearby churches override my entire tracker. It's really starting to send me over the edge. I just spent 15 minutes tracking a pupitar and if I go 100 feet down my street in either direction or simply cross to the other side, my nearby list completely disappears due to the nearby churches and their pokestops just barely coming into range on the very edge of the map. This is really broken, and infuriating, IMO. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2Lu3jLF
