"Niantic shot itself in the foot by releasing the weather trio first and the golem trio last."
#PokemonGO: I feel like in their hurry to get the big-name legendaries out, they ended up with an incredibly lackluster summer. Not only does it make less sense from an achievement perspective to give us the three strongest legendaries first, and the three most useless ones last, they really didn't need the extra hype at the time.Gen 3 had just been released. People were playing. Beginning with the Regis would have made way more sense, as for those three months there would have been no end to the activity as people scrambled to complete their gen 3 dexs. And now, in the summer, they could have been releasing Kyogre, Groudon, and finally Rayquza. Thematically it even makes more sense: Kyogre for the heavy rains of early summer, Groudon for the heat wave that usually follows, and Rayquaza to clear the weather and make way for fall.Plus it would have meant we would have gotten Regice and Registeel in winter: A period where it was still possible to find them weather-boosted for most of the player base.It just really seems like the order of release of legendaries made little sense at the time, and with how much of a drag summer has been, it makes even less sense now. I get that they wanted them to tie-in with the release of weather but I don't think it was worth what this summer has become. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2AXwTcx
