"Registeel and the current state of the game"

#PokemonGO: I don't know if we have a unique situation where I live but until recently the game had a huge amount of people come back to it. But that really changed in the last couple of weeks.Raids seem almost dead. Sometimes it's hard to find five people to do a daily raid with. The lack of an actual event also seems to contribute to that fact.Overall it seems to me that many people lose interest to play rapidly. I personally think there are a couple factors that contribute to that.Registeel is an uninteresting legendary as a defender that you can't put in a gymLack of an eventLack of good raid pass discounts in boxesShouldn't Niantic do something about this?
