"What would it take to change your favorite Pokemon?"

So let's say gen 8 comes out. Pokemon reveals their starters, legendaries, and other various brand new species. Out of the roster of new Pokemon, you see a Pokemon that really catches your eye. Maybe it has an amazing new type combination, or it's based off of a really cool animal that you love, or maybe it just has a well thought out and creative design. What aspects of a brand new Pokemon would suddenly make it your new favorite Pokemon? Or do you already love your current favorite so much that absolutely nothing could get in the way between you guys?I think for me, if Pokemon ever came out with another dog-like Pokemon based on the Boxer breed, then it may very well become my new favorite. I had a Boxer growing up and she was one of my best friends. I got her at a time when I was very sad and in desperate need of a good friend. She was so goofy, loving, energetic, and loyal. I miss coming home to seeing her do her happy butt dance and jumping up to lick my face. If Pokemon were to ever actually come up with a canine Pokemon like that, then in a weird sort of way I'd feel like I'd finally be reunited with my old buddy. If I were to catch a female, I'd definitely name her Hannah.It's hard to say though, since I absolutely love my current favorite Pokemon to bits.
