"Huge thanks to the trainers around Seattle!"
#PokemonGO: Today was the first time I really went into downtown Seattle Pokemon hunting. One of the best days ever where I walked for so long I was physically exhausted lol. I live in one of the surrounding towns but had never actually taken the train in just for hunting. Had my backpack with a charge cable and set out and about. Noticed one of the many gyms had a Mewtwo raid about to start in a minute or so. Decided to just walk over to it and see if anyone was there since I had never been able to actually complete one. There was like 25 people standing around. People in business suits, people like me with backpacks and charge cables, and a couple older normal looking people. It was such an odd looking group comprised of so many different dressed people. It had to have been funny for a passersby. We took him down easily and I captured my first ever Mewtwo after attempting it a couple other times with just random groups that bumped into each. Right after I decided to see if my luck continued since another Mewtwo raid was starting about 6 blocks away in 10 minutes. Walked down to it, once again a hodgepodge of very differently dressed people all standing around waiting for it. Once again I joined in and we all took it down easily. This Mewtwo got away though. Probably doesn't help that I am only level 25 and an Instinct member so don't get a ton of Premier Balls to attempt them. All together with just a random 7 hour excursion on a day off I traded 10 QR friend codes with random trainers I bumped into and caught about 5 more Pokemon for my Pokedex. Hatched unknown number of eggs too. All together it was just a great day. To all the trainers in Seattle that were out and about today fighting raids on your breaks from work, thanks a ton. You helped me out immensely.Another bonus was on the way home by the Burien transit center is a park that has a Scyther nest in it. Have been hunting him forever since he has been my favorite Pokemon since I was 13 years old. Just an extra big cherry on top of a great day. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2R3lRXb
