"The biggest change I want: The ability to flag interest in a raid."
#PokemonGO: What am I talking about? Raid pops it is say a snorlax. I obviously can't solo it what are my options?Sit around hoping that the random people around are players and have an interest in it.Use my raid pass and continually cycle count downs, hoping enough other people come along.Shrug my shoulders and move on.The one option I really want is the ability to say:"Hey I am in the area I would like to do this raid if there are others out there." So if the gym is on your map you could flag it and as long as the gym is on the map it will remain flagged. And your raid pass is not committed until you actually join the group. There are a couple restaurants that are gyms, and almost every time there is a raid up, you can see one person come, then a few minutes later they move on. A few minutes later someone else comes, sees there are not likely to be enough people and moves on.Pokemon Go is a game designed to promote moving, yet raids are designed to keep people stationary. The end result is unless you are in SUPER busy area (or you are with a group of people already doing raids), it is difficult to get a spontaneous raid going. In other words raids are supposed to bring people together, but it often fails to do that.By being able to flag yourself as interested if it means rather than multiple people passing by and saying "this isn't going to happen, I don't want to burn my raid pass" you instead will have a tool that is easy to use and puts minimal stress on the server that causes people that do not know each other to come together and do raids. You are free to continue moving around and if you see others flagging interest you have the ability to return. Or you have the ability to see a raid on the map that is out of your way and the odds of bumping into someone is pretty minimal so why bother? But if you see several people flag an interest to it suddenly it is worth while to go out of your way.It would be a pretty small QoL change that would have a tremendous positive impact on the raid system as a whole. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2Nejqmo
