"Is shiny Drifloon even real?"

#PokemonGO: How do you guys and girls feel when you haven't seen a specific shiny Pokemon that you really want and see all these other people get like 2 back to back? My luck with shiny Drifloon has been horrible that every time I see one I'm like this one is definitely shiny. I have seen over 1000 of them and still nothing.
