"A Few Tips For YOU and A List of Cheap, Useful & Wild Pokémon For Raids"

#PokemonGO: TL;DR: Get to level 30, save your stardust. Depending on what you have access to, the following make good alternatives for raids; eeveelutions (all types), Mr. Mime (psychic or fairy moves), heracross (fighting moves), exeggutor (psychic or grass moves), starters, ursaring (hyper beam or fighting moves)DISCLAIMER: Always remember to have fun. It's just a game.If you're just now coming back to the game or you just started, welcome! It's always great to see trainers returning to fulfill their childhood destiny. With that said you're probably finding things a bit too overwhelming with how crazy things are with raids mostly but don't panic! It gets easier I promise. The first order of business is to level up to 30. Best ways are to send gifts, level up friendships, raid, evolve a lot of pokémon, etc. Very important that you get to level 30 because at that level things are more balanced. Everything that we (everyone over 30) catch will have the exact same CP, IVs and level. Also, you will be able to catch pokémon that can reach up to 5 levels above your level capping off at level 35. Huge savings in stardust.Stardust is the life blood of this game. So do not be so frivolous with it on excessive amounts of expensive trades if you need dust for powering up pokémon which you will at your level. In short, have some self control. Best way to gain a lot of stardust is to hatch eggs and catch everything no matter how much you hate bad eggs and attempting to catch murkrow. It pays off in the long run. Trust me.Depending on where you live, ask the locals in your area what are the cheapest and yet most useful boosted pokémon are that you can catch in the wild to use for raids. For example, I live in a grass biome and we mostly get pokémon boosted by sunny, cloudy and partly cloudy weather. So grass, fighting, fire and normal types just to name a few are always decent options. And at weather boosted levels these guys will do some damage without ever spending any dust which will allow you to save it for better pokémon that you will be able to use as part of your elite offensive teams in the future. Other typings such as water, rock electric and psychic are always useful as well.I hope this helps a few of you out there. GG. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2PIh67w
