"I owe you all a big thank you"
#PokemonGO: I really do. I've been 'playing' Pokémon Go since its release, but I soon grew pretty tired with it. I grew up with the games, so I carried on for nostalgia's sake. I'm in a very rural area, so I don't have anyone to play with here. Pokémon Go quickly became just about filling out my Pokédex, but on your own that gets pretty dull. The updates and new features came, but eh. When my baby son was born, I would walk around the village with him to hatch some eggs, but after a few weeks, my walks got shorter and shorter until I more or less just stayed indoors. Now I also have a daughter, and with her I suffered terribly with post partum anxiety. It got to a point where I wouldn't leave my house, answer the door or even answer the phone. Fast forward to now, and I started to see that history was starting to repeat itself. In this time, I found this subreddit, but never felt able to contribute. But one day I looked at a few posts, and I felt that spark that I would get whenever a new game was released. Thanks to you, I've learned about IV levels, how to do solo raids, and all sorts of tips and tricks. And best of all, I'm going out again! I've now got a few legendaries, including Mew that I caught yesterday. My anxiety is definitely still hanging over my shoulder, but I feel so much better for getting out again. Ok, that was longer than expected, so... TL;DR you guys have helped me find the courage to go outside again and stave off post partum anxiety symptoms by helping me discover more about the game.
