"I’m an idiot."

#PokemonGO: I was playing with the search bar since i recently discovered some tricks that help you search for pokémon faster, and wondered if i could look for ones with specific cp, so i wrote 420 to try it. Nothing came up for that, but when i backspaced a digit and got to 42, my golbat came up. Weird, i thought, since it didn’t have a cp of 42, so i looked at its stats wondering if it’s hp or any other numbers were 42. Nothing.VERY WEIRD. After i deleted another digit and got to 4, a charmander came up. Again, cp isn’t 4, neither are any of its stats. I even checked their IV’s wondering if that was somehow it, but nope.I was hella confused and really wanted an explanation, so i screen recorded and sent it to my group chat with other pogo players, making a very big deal about how weird this was.I didn’t understand why they kept asking if i was serious, if i was taking the piss or what. I kept insisting that no guys, i was genuinely confused and really wanted to understand this code to the search bar!...Sufficed to say i’m a goddamn idiot, and those were just their pokedex numbers, and they’re probably never gonna let me live this downI’m not new to pokemon at all, so no excuse tbh, just gonna blame the fact that it’s 2am. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2Bdrdt4
