"My most wholesome PoGo Experience"

#PokemonGO: Today seemed like just any other day to drop by a local legendary raid outside my office. The turnout was very light, with a total attendance of 7 players... (I'm hoping that the rest of my comments are "PC" so please feel free to coach me how I can state my experience better:)) One of the players in attendance had severe cerebral palsy and needed an electric wheelchair. When the raid began, even tapping the screen to attack was very difficult for him.We soon beat the raid boss and he had asked for help in catching the Giratina. At that point most of the other players had left and I volunteered to help. To make things more interesting, his Giratina was 100% IV.The player had 8 balls to work with and a SUPER laggy experience (was running on Android and possibly had a bunch of other background apps running)… And I mean like... ball throws 1-2 seconds after taking my finger off the screen... It was rough... The first 4 balls I didn't even get on the screen...My own balls were sweating furiously and I was reaching vomit-status nervous... How could I possibly volunteer to help catch a legendary for someone and screw up? Anyways... On the FINAL BALL I caught that sucker and this guy's eyes LIT UP, we was super excited and grateful for my help. He gave me a loud cheer and shaky high-five that meant the world to me. I've never had much of an emotional attachment to PoGo but today really was a testament to the power of the game, the community, and how it can truly make someone's day :). Hope you enjoyed this as much as I did! via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2K3mQU3
