"My one major gripe with the Co Op for Let’s Go"

I can deal with player 2 randomly teleporting in and out all the time, not being able to pick up items, go through doors, or talk to NPCs. It’s a little sad but I get why it had to be that way and my wife and I have been having a lot of fun playing together.However it is straight up garbage that when the game throws a 2 on 2 battle at you, player 2 has to sit out. We’ve been tag teaming 2 on 1 for the entire game and when we finally get to an even 2 on 2 fight with Team Rocket, player 1 controls both Pokemon?
