#PokemonGO: We were hiking through Seoul yesterday and in order to improve battery lifetime I had Battery Saver active on my Google Pixel. Strangely I saw no update from PoGo through the whole day. When I disabled the saver, PoGo notification popped up about 1 min later. As I understand it when Battery Saver is active, background tasks are disabled to conserve the battery.
