"The Sinnoh Stone Tier List [GamePress]"

#PokemonGO: "What do I evolve with my Sinnoh Stone?" This seems to be the hot new question here on the road. We're currently only getting 1 Sinnoh Stone per week, so we'll want to use them wisely. The full article on GamePress.gg groups Pokemon into three different groups and ranks them from there. I'll also give a brief synopsis in this post here but I don't want to sell the article short. It's got a lot of DPS rankings and talks about a lot more that I won't put here to save space. For an even more brief synopsis, check out this sweet article infographic made by u/Lorma96This article is also available in audio/video form here for those that prefer that style of content. There's a lot of information covered here. Let us read it for you while you crack a Lucky Egg and level up with some new info! This list comes with a caveat. The optimal use of a Sinnoh Stone is always going to be a Pokemon you power up and use. Prioritize an evolution you can make use of!Top TierElectivire is the least replaceable option especially for those without Electric legendary Pokemon. This is the new Electric DPS leader and a great use of a Sinnoh Stone. Do note that Electric types may not be relevant again soon against any T5 raid bosses.Roserade is the best Poison, pretty much forever and almost the best Grass. That said, these types face more competition from other types. Electivire, Raikou, Zapdos, Kyogre, Gyrados, Moltres, Entei, Flareon, Metagross, and more can all beat out Roserade unless it has a favorable weather boost. Roserade provides much more utility for your Stone but in a way that's typically outclassed.Weavile is the current top Dark and Ice DPS. Better options for both and coming soon (and Ghosts beat it out). Many players (should) also have Ttars powered up, meaning you may not need a Weavile.Rhyperior is a passable Ground or Rock user. It loses to Groudon and Ttar as well as more non-legacy options in Gen 4. As a Ground attacker, Rhydon is about 93% as good. With no real niche other than it being a common spawn in some biomes and a nesting Pokemon, this rhino isn't super impressive, but may prove to be a useful addition to lineups in the near future.BenchwarmersHonchkrow is worse than Weavile. It's close, but Weavile is better and already faces competition from a number of other attackers.Togekiss can be an okay Machamp counter, especially when cloudy. There's merit as a defender with resistances to fighting but the gym meta is in a bit of flux with the stat rebalance as is.Magmortar is worse than Flareon. Every other Fire type gets Overheat or Blast Burn. This has neither.Mismagiushas worse DPS and TDO than Ttar. It barely squeezes into the top 15 Ghost/Psychic counters.Dex EntriesPorygon has high attack but horrible moves. You could save a stone and wait for better moves.Gliscor doesn’t break the top 40 Breloom counters even with a double Flying moveset. That's embarrassing.Dusknoir has a lower chance to be relevant than Shedinja.Again, the linked video and article go into much more detail for those wanting more in depth look.We also still advocate saving a stone or two till we see what future Tier 5 raid bosses may be, but also do whatever you find fun! New dex entries are always exciting. If you're questioning what to spend your Sinnoh Stone on, we hope we can help you find your answer! via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2DIYb6K
