"Has Niantic ever thought of certifying their RNG implementation ?"

#PokemonGO: It would be a great idea. More and more games are doing it, it would give the community a great motivation and trust boost if a third party certified the RNG as being fair. As it stands we have no way to know if it's weighted equally for all players, if it's implemented correctly, or even worse: if it's manipulated and geared toward each individual in order to psychologically encourage spending real money to obtain valuable things.I feel very strongly about RNG neutrality as a dev myself, and a lot of games abuse the trust of their players. I have a lot in confidence in Niantic's integrity but doing such a thing would be brillant and avant-garde in my eyes, especially doing so before European regulations make it an obligation.Anybody else feels like it would be a great step toward transparency and total trust ? I see more and more players feeling leery since shinies and gen 4 started a roll-out.Thank you for reading, feel free to correct my English wherever it's lacking. via /r/pokemongo http://bit.ly/2V6TkSw
