"Pokemon Wedding"

So me and my Fiance met through Pokemon and he proposed to me with a ring inside a Pokeball ❤We like the idea of a Pokemon themed wedding too, but we have a lot of older relatives who aren't going to have a clue what Pokemon even is. I want to keep the references subtle. I don't want it to look like a kids birthday party.For example, I was thinking of having the tables named/themed after the towns in Kanto. Like the Cerulean table is all blue flowers or something like that.Can anyone suggest any subtle nods Pokemon that we can have for our wedding?(Also, the cake is excluded from this.
