"Showerthought - Pokemon Go is the mobile equivalent of No Man's Sky - ultimately they are delivering on what the trailer showed off"
#PokemonGO: Remember the original trailer?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sj2iQyBTQsBattling, trading, raids - none of that was in the game when it first came out. But us dedicated pokéfans stuck with it through the server crashes, tracking changes, community day outages and eventually more and more of the trailer's features started to become incorporated into the game. With the upcoming pvp it seems that everything in the trailer will now be available. It just struck me as not too dissimilar to No Man's Sky situation (never played it myself but I did read about all the controversy over the features promised vs the initial game - seems like they patched in a lot of features years on and now the game is much closer to what was promised). It was pointed out to me that PoGo is of course a f2p mobile game whereas NMS was a $60 PC game so obviously it's not an exact equivalence - but there are similarities I think.Personally I'm glad I stuck on long enough (nostalgia is Super Effective!) to see all these features added to PoGo :) via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2REZTJX
