"[IDEA ]How Arceus should be implemented: a difficult endgame challenge."

#PokemonGO: Soon enough, Arceus will enter the game. And some people are worried about the way its features get implemented, namely, it's multiform and plates. And less people (including me) are worried about the fact that Arceus is the god of the pokemon universe, so it wouldn't make a lot of sense to put it in raid and allow everyone to have tons of them, or even just one, THE one, considering this is GOD we are talking about.Yet, it would be dissapointing to just have a special research reward you with one pitiful Arceus, a bunch of candies, and possibly the plates, IF the plates even get added into the game. So, this is my idea:A special research that is unlocked only after performing multiple outstanding achievements, such as reaching level 40 (or beyond, maybe), getting all the gold type medals, completing multiple regional dexes, and so on...This would also address the "problem" of having nothing else to do after reaching level 40 and feeling "done" with the game. Oh, no... NOW is when the game would really start.Upon seeing this, Arceus would speak directly to the player, being impressed and seeing potential in them. Potential to be chosen as a representant of the god itself, and be a wielder of a small, but significant part of it's all-powerful might. The special "research" would be a series of tasks given by the big guy itself, so the player can prove it's worth.Missions would be hard. Say, something like, "Land 50 curveball throws in a row", "Solo win three level 4 or higher raids", *"Catch 10 legendary pokemon", "Land 10 straight excellent throws in a row", "Walk 100 kilometers*", and so on...On each successful task completed, Arceus would reward you with some of the plates (which should be stored in an appropiate "plate case"). On the final task, Arceus would give you one last test; in order to control a part of his power, you must be able to tame it. That is, you would face the god itself. Or at least, a "part" of him; a "lesser" form of him which you would be granted to control, should you be able to best it. It could be something like a solo 4 star raid, or a 5 star raid in which you could get up to 2 friends to defeat it. It could be in it's Normal type form, or any other, selected at random on each attemp. After that, Arceus (the real one, not it's "lesser form" you just battled) would congratulate you, mortal, for having impressed him, proved your worthiness to him, and be able to tame a part of it's power. After that, you would proceed to the usual catch challenge......and upon catching this "lesser form" of Arceus, you'd see that it's already maxed out at level 40, ready to strike your enemies' hearts with fear, granting them no mercy, for you now possess a fragment of the power of a-- no, of THE god itself. And, by going into your inventory, you'd see this Plate Case, where upon tapping on it, you would find all the plates. Tapping on one of them would immediately change "Arceus" form.Another possibility would be to get Arceus at level 15 as usual (or even, say, a 50km "orb" of some kind, that would "hatch" into "Arceus"), and have the tasks reward you with candies instead of the plates. And have the plates be awarded to you upon reaching an outstanding number of catches of each corresponding type, like, 1,000 Dragon-type Pokemon, 5,000 Plant-type Pokemon, and so on.To clarify: lore and storywise, you wouldn't catch Arceus, the god itself. Rather, you'd own a manifestation of itself, a "limited" form, which can be controlled by a worthy mortal. Still, you would unlock it's pokedex entry, could have it appraised, not transfered or traded, and all the usual stuff. If you'd need to, you could get candies at the usual 20km per candy rate. That's just my idea. I severly doubt Niantic would do something this compex... but it's something I've been thinking for a long while. What do you think about it? via /r/pokemongo http://bit.ly/2FkXH79
