"What to do if fellow raiders does seem to put enough effort in putting good counters?"

#PokemonGO: Joined a Kyogre raid team of 10 people. When the raid started, saw some Kyogres, Aggrons, and Rhyperiors and a BLISSEY. Few are putting grass and electric counters. Unsurprisingly, the team is doing bad. I didn't give up though. Used full revives on my mons until time ran out. In the end, we lost and I wasted a raid pass, revives and potions.Is there a value in putting effort in a losing raid or I should have just cut my losses and walked away?
