"For everyone having issues pairing/sending pokemon to switch, try this"
#PokemonGO: Tl;dr: HOLD POWER BUTTON DOWN (on top of switch) and restart switch. Load game, pair phone, find shiny Meltan :)Yesterday I tried to get the mystery box going for my gf and I. My account had no issues at all but i could not get hers to connect for the life of me. I spent a little over two hours trying with no success. Eventually i saw a comment (the post is no longer up so i cant give proper credit) saying to hold the power button on the switch and restart it. I had powered it on fresh when i did my trade but i hadnt restarted between doing mine and my gf's. Worked like a charm after I did.I see this fix is slowly getting around but part of the issue is the posts either get removed or are taken down by OP once the issue is resolved and more people have to post about them not being able to connect and then wait for the correct answer. This may not fix the issue for everyone but it seems to help for most. Good luck on getting that shiny Meltan!Other tips:Keep joycons detached and away from switch.Unpair everything from your bluetooth settings on phone.Check permissions on pokemon go, allow all.Restart phone. If it's not letting you send pokemon over make sure you are linked (open settings in let's go and PoGo and link them). Some people are trying to send pokemon before ever linking their accounts. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://bit.ly/2TxnaOM
