"Regular Geodude Extinct?"

#PokemonGO: So after noticing it myself for months now, I’ve taken it upon myself to ask my local playing community when the last time any of them remember finding a normal, regular Geodude in the wild... no one can remember! All there seems to be anymore is Alolan Geodude.This wouldn’t normally be a huge problem, but since you can’t get a wild shiny Alolan Geodude, something seems a bit off. I myself never managed to get a shiny Geodude when they were first released, and now I’m starting to think I may never get another chance. Can you still regular Geodude from eggs?When was the last time you, or anyone else remember seeing regular Geodude in the wild?
