"Why not show the upcoming raid boss in the pre-raid egg?"

#PokemonGO: We get an egg with a timer telling us what tier the raid will be, and then when it hatches, we see which raid boss it is. What game-relevant reason is there not to show the raid boss before it hatches, to know what's coming up?I know a lot of us want that, and would benefit from it for planning for raids. But are there any good gameplay related reasons for not showing it until hatch?
