"Everything to know about Treecko ~ March 2019 Community Day Guide"

#PokemonGO: Treecko Community Day is right around the corner. The GamePress guide is here to help you and your community make the most out of this Community Day!Read the full guide here! There’s a few new things going on this time around that will impact how you play. First and foremost please note that CD hours may have changed in your region! The event now takes place 3-6 PM regardless of where you live. (This is new so consider there may be some kinks to work out.)The rest of the guide is structured typically; how to prepare before the event, analysis and key technical information to consider during the event, as well as strategies for maximizing your acquired resources after the event.Included* Where to play (by a timezone shift if you can)* Items to bring* Should you be Incubating? (I say no) side note: Only incubations started during CD will have reduced distance. Reduced distance remains in effect after the event ends* Technical info on research and change of spawns* Frenzy Plant Analysis* Technical info on trading* When to Pinap* 100% search string* Quick appraisal tips* PvP CPs to target* A lot of thoughts on FOMO- but I’ll talk on some of that here tooFrenzy PlantGrass is an extremely competitive type. The most, even. “How many Sceptile should I evolve/Power Up?” is going to have a different answer for each player. Consider your current team, how much you want to improve it. Already have a team of Venusaur? You may not care (or you might still).Frenzy Plant Sceptile winds up being right behind Roserade and ahead of the rest of the pack. For new/returning players, this may be an enticing Pokemon too because Roserade is a Charge TM /Sinnoh Stone sink to try and get the right move; ¼. Sceptile evolved during CD are guaranteed to have Frenzy Plant (and yea there’s a Mega in the future so it there’s that to look forward to too).Fear Of Missing OutFOMO. It’s not great.I think this Community Day is making some nice steps to curb that awful feeling. At the same time, Niantic needs to balance wanting to make money and wanting to see large quantities of people out playing. The Equinox Event helps. Grovyle in Tier 2 Raids helps. At the same time, “Put away those TMs, trainers” still makes me cringe. I think research rewards need to be revamped to include CD Pokemon too (does anyone still need Kanto starters and Vulpix?)- but it’s a balance. If you’re unable to play during Community Day this weekend, there’s still opportunities for you to get the exclusive move in December (likely). Players looking for better IV Sceptile can also make use of this, trading in the meantime. With Lucky Trades and the datamined Lucky Friendship, there’s plenty of opportunities for players both before and after the event. We’ll also certainly see Treecko added soon as a Tier 1 Raid after the event. This also means you can focus on having fun during Community Day. I still encourage reading the full guide on GamePress.gg, but if you forget something here or there, it won’t feel bad if you had a fun time! Remember to share this guide with your community as well if you think it can help them. That’s what Community Day is all about, after all! via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2OkjZYR
