"Just finishing Treecko's Community Day in New Zealand"

#PokemonGO: The first globally unified date and time for CD was a success in Kaikoura, New Zealand. :)I played in the main street of this coastal town and there were an abundance of treecko. There were more treecko spawns than anything else. We played amongst flowers from this lovely community in pain and support of the Christchurch Muslim community.I was able to play for almost 2 hours. During that time I caught 143 treecko, of which 8 were shiny.Also, thankfully, the flee rate appears to have been nerfed. The treecko were MUCH LESS annoying to catch, but some did run.The tasks were standard CD tasks, catch three treecko, evolve grass types for a reward of great and ultra balls or stardust.I had zero connectivity issues. The game locked up once, but a simple restart fixed it. Who knows, it could've been through phones or the local provider.We sat and evolved and got frenzy plant for the hour following the event. Sceptile evolved 1 hour and 3 minutes AFTER the event DID NOT KNOW FRENZY PLANT.Thank you Niantic for another fun event. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2Fu79EO
