#PokemonGO: For the first couple of years of Pokemon Go it seemed like getting the gold medal for 300 extra large Magikarp was impossible, but with trading it got a lot easier (although still difficult), and a couple of weeks ago I met up with a friend who had ten XL karps ready to trade, the last ten I needed to complete my goal. Then about a week ago, after months of diligent gift-sending and opening and coordinating lucky eggs, I got my 100th Best Friend. Finally, yesterday I reached what was never a goal at all until about 6 months ago when I realized it was actually plausible, 100m XP. I really wanted to hit that milestone exactly, which involved a lot of planning, including making sure no one could surprise me with friend level-ups and no eggs would hatch unexpectedly. Getting the last two digits to 0 was an exercise in spinning gyms and making many mistakes.
