"Most very old stops and gyms just lost their photo due to OPR changes"

#PokemonGO: Niantic just removed very old photos from portals that were submitted without an account name, and now about 50% of the gyms and stops that I can see from home have a blank white photodisc/background.And no this isn’t a loading issue, it’s been reported throughout our server and on r/ingress too.Given that pokestops and gyms currently do NOT otherwise pull updated photos from Ingress, how is this going to be fixed? Can old ones be restored? Will the game start pulling new photos?Really is a shame to lose out on iconic gym icons that I know at a glance for a new photo if it’s the latter :( via /r/TheSilphRoad http://bit.ly/2IHp6lW
