"Why does Niantic restrict the gift drops from stops/gyms beyond the bag cap and daily limit?"
#PokemonGO: I am a suburban player without a car most of the time. Our little borough has seven pokestops and two gyms. The gyms and four of the stops are located rather centrally - it's about a fifteen minute walk to loop all of them. The other three stops are at opposite ends of a triangle surrounding the borough borders and each are another fifteen minute walk in each direction.Niantic wants to encourage us to have friends and give gifts, but when I spin all six in the central loop and end up with *two* gifts it is frustrating. I want to be able to send gifts to my regular long-distance friends - since it can be difficult to guarantee enough gifts to exchange I have to limit my friend requests to just a small number.I know it is RNG but it really hits the rural/suburban trainers. This is not an issue for trainers who live and/or work in a city or larger urban area. Even without driving in Philly or NYC when I go to those cities, I could easily hit the daily limit just walking, spinning stops and sending gifts out. Is there a point to restricting the gift drop rate instead of just allowing a gift to drop when you spin a stop until you have ten in your bag? via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2Vg8pRr
