"Windy weather requirements may have been changed, possibly relaxed"

#PokemonGO: Windy weather has been more common in the last few weeks. More common than I expect. The Windy rules I have learned:v1. A year ago it was commonly reported that base speeds of ≥24.1 km/h would produce wind. I found this not always true.v2. I instead proposed a rule of base+gust wind speeds sum to >55 km/h to produce wind. I found this reliable until end of March this year (estimate; I initially credited my mistakes to Daylight Savings Time starting and throwing off Niantic's expected pull time). The rule of precipitation overriding wind seems to be true still. Why am I sure the rule of >55 has changed? I have current weather of Windy in-game, and hourly AccuWeather forecasts since 8pm last night of speeds for this hour do not satisfy the rule.8pm: 20.4+25.9=46.39pm: 20.4+25.9=46.310pm: 20.4+25.9=46.311pm: 20.4+25.9=46.312am: 20.4+25.9=46.31am: 20.4+25.9=46.32am: 20.4+25.9=46.33am: 20.4+25.9=46.34am: 20.4+25.9=46.35am: 20.4+27.8=48.26am: 20.4+31.5=51.97am: 20.4+33.3=53.7The hour before was not windy and did not reach a sum >50 km/h.If there were a change, the rule may be sum >50 km/h, or just gust speeds >30 km/h. With a forecast refresh happening before or at 6am.Whatever information our TSR meteorologists can provide would be great! via /r/TheSilphRoad http://bit.ly/2KMV3LA
