"What's up with raid times in North America?"

#PokemonGO: I have a feeling this question may have been asked often but I haven't seen many answers to it. Where I live in the US on the East coast, sunrise is around 6 AM with sunset around 8 PM. This makes it possible for raids to possibly be done as early or as late as those times. Where I live, it's been pretty whack with raid times. Some raids have been starting at around 5:30 AM where I am and the majority of people are not going to raid at that early hour. They continue on throughout the day and end no later than 6:30 PM. Meanwhile, there's about an hour and a half to two hours of daylight left and no raids are popping up when most people are usually out and about for to go out for dinner or to burn of steam from work. I'm just curious to know why raids here in the US start so early and end so early while other countries have raids till much later in the evening. Is this something that Niantic could fix? via /r/TheSilphRoad http://bit.ly/2WGjU5h
