"Go Fest Dortmund Tip"

#PokemonGO: While too late for Chicago folks now, folks going to Dortmund may be able to take advantage of this info.During the Go Fest Chicago event, Step 5 of the Jirachi Special Research included a task to make 3 Trades over 100km distance. This task rewarded you 3 raid passes.At some point after the event ended, Niantic changed this task to Evolve 3 with same reward of 3 raid passes.Here’s the trick. It appears that the way Niantic implemented this is to delete the old task and add the new one regardless of whether or not you completed it. So I had actually completed the Trade 3 task at Go Fest and claimed my 3 raid passes, however, I never finished all tasks for Step 5. Today, the new Evolve 3 one showed up and I was able to complete it and received a nice bonus of 3 additional raid passes.Tip: assuming they do the same at Dortmund, it may be desirable to not fully complete the Jirachi Special Research. Only complete the Trade 3 task (including claiming your 3 raid passes) for Step 5 during the actual event.
