#PokemonGO: The Community Day for the month of May was Torchic because in the TV show, one of the main characters is also named May and her starter pokemon is a Torchic.The Torchic appears many times throughout the series, eventually evolving to Combusken and then Blaziken.Sorry if this was super obvious or pointed out before.
