"New (?) Bug: Shiny Cresselia encounter remained speed-capped for 10+ minutes while player was stationary & while other Pokémon were caught by Go-Tcha."

#PokemonGO: I am a fairly hardcore player who raids frequently, and today my friend encountered a bug we had never seen before. My friend is running the new APK as of yesterday night. We were passengers (yes, we play safely) in a car that was driving away from a Cresselia raid. Just as we encountered our Cresselia, we both got the "going too fast" notification and clicked "I am a passenger." I believe the timing of this notification, exactly as we both encountered the boss, may have caused the speed cap to become locked in for that encounter. My friend's Cresselia was shiny. We arrived at the next raid and stopped, and my friend had thrown a couple balls. We knew he must be speed capped because the shiny was popping out. My non-shiny Cresselia, too, was popping out of each throw without a shake, so I suspected but could not prove that I was still speed-capped, as well, at least a minute or so longer than usual. I threw the rest of my balls and got into the next lobby, and my friend stayed to wait out the speed cap.We were stationary for about twelve minutes. During that time, my friend's Go-Tcha caught other Pokémon and spun the gym, which proves he was not speed capped. However, the shiny Cresselia encounter did not seem to register that he was no longer speed capped. This video, coupled with the journal screenshot, show clearly that the shiny Cresselia was erroneously behaving as if my friend was still speed-capped when he was not. Please excuse the physical recording—my friend didn't want to risk the app crashing after the raid had already despawned behind us—but it does also demonstrate that we were stationary.Next time, what we would do is return to the raid, run from the encounter, and re-encounter the boss. If anyone is able to show that this solution works, please let us know. This was such a frustrating situation!TL;DR: Experienced raider lost a shiny Cresselia 10+ minutes after initial speed cap, due to an apparent bug wherein the game fails to register that the player is now stationary. Be cautious and aware that this is possible, and consider returning to the raid to re-encounter the boss if it happens to you. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://bit.ly/2IdRhX5
