"Pokémon Let's Go TMs to teach your Pokémon in time for Sword/Shield Part 1: Teleport!"
Now Teleport has always been seen as a fairly useless move until the Let's Go games buffed its viability considerably. The user will almost always act last but will now switch out to another user, guaranteeing a safe switch in!The negative priority pretty much stops a lot of Pokémon from being able to use it effectively, but this is a move made for bulky Pokémon! So if we look at the Pokémon capable of learning it:Butterfree, A-Raichu, Clefable, Wigglytuff, Arcanine, Alakazam, Slowpoke/Slowbro, Magneton, Cloyster, Hypno, Exeggutor, Chansey, Starmie, Mr Mime, Jynx, Electabuzz, Magmar, Porygon, Mewtwo and Mew.The ones mentioned like this are your ideal options for Teleport because of their slow and bulky nature. Some even evolve in later generations into bulkier Pokémon! But the real reason for considering whether or not to send these Pokémon forward is the application of Z-Teleport in future games assuming Z-moves make a return.Z-Teleport heals the Pokémon to full HP, and if Let's Go's Teleport mechanics pass over this means that these Pokémon will have access to a perfect turn. They can take a hit, heal to full and switch out to a more favourable Pokémon. And while Pokémon like Chansey, Porygon, Clefable and Arcanine have access to recovery moves, Pokémon like Magneton, Wigglytuff and Hypno either have to rely on Rest or two-turn recovery moves. Now I know this isn't exactly gonna make any Pokémon a gamebreaking choice but thanks to Pokémon Home confirmed as a thing, this will add some new variety to the Gen 1 Pokémon at least. What are your thoughts about all this? via /r/pokemon http://bit.ly/2JP7lSp
