"Reminder for catching Rayquaza: The bug when catching a Pokemon that goes up and down is still in the game. If you ever feel like you threw your ball right and it went wild, that's what happened."

#PokemonGO: The bug works as follows:For Pokemon that go up and down while you catch, if you throw when the Pokemon is up, and then it pops out of the ball, the game loses track of whether to treat the Pokemon as if it's up or down. The Pokemon will be down when it comes out of the ball, but the game will still angle your throw as if it is up, causing your throw to wildly overshoot where it would go otherwise. You can fix the bug by waiting for the Pokemon to go up again, which causes the Pokemon's actual height to match up with where the game thinks your throw will go. When it goes down again from there, it will also continue to be fixed and normal. You can also play around it by avoiding it in the first place, by either consistently only throwing at the Pokemon when it's down or when it's up. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2MBX3Wt
