"Niantic Wayfarer album, the new OPR/Review system! All the changes. What you should know(not much)."

#PokemonGO: Album, 15 images: https://ift.tt/318c2Ll core OPR features are still there.Operation Portal Recon is the now retired system used to review new pokéstops/portals. Niantic Wayfarer is the new improved system that replaces it.Nothing relevant missing. You can still see the guidelines for voting, set a hometown location, bonus location, change language, check stats, check upgrades, etc.I haven't found how to see list of "all previously upgraded" like the way it was in OPR. There's the filter "upgraded", but I guess it's only for upgraded but not finished, mine is current empty, so idk.The guide for suggested ratings for some submissions has changed to "potentially confusing nominations" below.Review screen is pretty large.I'm not sure if I like this design. It takes 3 screen to review everything, and them you need to move a lot, because each criteria is far from each other. All the 6 ratings are the same. Overall "good quality candidate", title/description, Historic/cultural significance, Visually unique, location, safe access.List of submitted nominations is great!Biggest things are related to seeing your full list of nominations. They show each nomination status: on going, accepted, rejected. For on going nominations, you can edit it. But only title and description. You also have the option to withdraw it. After I sent a submission, it became a pokéstop because other player submitted it, so I quickly withdrew it with no problem, saving some review time.Biggest change for me is being able to choose which nomination I will upgrade next. You can even setup a queue for themNvm, the button is disabled once you have one. Upgrades are a reviewer feature that boosts a nomination to a high priority state, which is likely to get a response in a few hours or days. Before today, the upgraded was chosen randomly among the current on-going nominations. What Pokémon Go only players should know?Honestly, not much for now. There's now a great list published about Potentially confusing nominations. Take a read at it. Those weren't discussed at the pokéstop criteria page, but are common candidates that you can submit if you want to, like playgrounds and athletic fields. Not new info, but a good detailed list.Your submissions are still going to be reviewed the same. There a official stance on how to request a modification or removal for Pokémon Go.There's mentioned a clarification rule for Gravestones, cemeteries and burial stones and memorials. This is slightly different from the Official high-quality pokéstop page, but is the most recent. With a fresh system and the ability to choose upgrades, there should be an increase in review times. Hopefully. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2owl5IH
