"To those disappointed by Sword and Shield:"
Please don't buy it. I've read so many "I'm still getting it anyway" comments today. Just please don't buy it. We can't give Gamefreak our money for a product we're not happy with. We have to vote with our wallets. Fallout 1st? That awful subscription for Fallout 76? Actually sold well, despite disastrous backlash. And now they're going to expand it even more, and rip more people off, because it SOLD WELL. The whole "it's Pokemon I have to play it anyway" reasoning is exactly what Gamefreak wants. To make money on brand alone. That's why they kept bad news as secret as they could. They know they messed up. If you're disappointed but absolutely have to play it, buy it used. Borrow it. Anything but a new purchase. Because if there's one thing Gamefreak will listen to, it's money. Because it's clearly not listening to fans.To be clear, I am not in any way trying to shame anyone who IS excited for Sword and Shield. I get it. Not everyone cares about every Pokemon. There are a lot of new and casual fans who are super excited, my childhood best friend included. And I'm happy for you guys. But those who feel like Sword and Shield is lacking please vote with your wallets. And then maybe, just maybe, Gamefreak and the Pokemon Company will give us BOTH the casual and hardcore Pokemon fanbase a proper game worthy of the Pokemon name. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2NcLDYW
