"Fighting Giovanni's persian"

#PokemonGO: Have been struggling hard with Giovanni (I'm late finishing the November quest line, whoops).But, looking on this sub, it seems like everyone has easy luck with PuP Lucario or Machamp. Some have even used Swampert alone to burn through both persian and Rhydon. . . I've tried these along with starting with TTar, PuP poliwrath, and all those options just melted before persian died. I'm level 40 using pokemon level 30+ (most are around 35).I finally won with a Giratina-O - Swampert HC - smackTTar lineup against his persian - rhydon - Zapdos. . . But that took me a few tries since I had to use 1 shield to get Girantia through persian (depleted all his shields) and one shield against rhydon to win that heads up match. Zapdos was able to one shot my TTar before I could get my charge off most of the time.What was I doing wrong here? via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2OFfk5H
