"It's okay to take a break from an event in Pokemon Go"
#PokemonGO: As a hardcore day one player I try to play every event, and back when they had an event every so often it was doable because I never felt burnt out. Now I feel like there is just way to much going on in terms of events and it is burning me out. Between an event happening every weekend and events during the week I can't keep up with it all.For instance recently I decided I wouldn't do the Nidorino and Gengar Party Hat event because it just didn't interest me that much to want to go out and do the event. Then for the events coming up in March I think I will skip Shiny Cobalion because it's not really a good mon in terms of PVP or raiding and even if it was I know Niantic will come back with it eventually. Even if they don't I already plan to use my raid passes for Shiny Darkrai anyway. Darkrai has so much going for it in terms if viability in PVP and even in raiding as well. That is going to be my strategy going forward and you might think I am doing this to boycott Niantic and that is not true. I don't want to have that fear of missing out on events and have Niantic capitalize on it plus I am sure aside from myself that we all have a life aside from Pokemon Go. This is also not an attack on those who are hardcore and actually do every event either. This is just a message that you can take breaks away from games that even if there is an event going on it's better to pause and ask yourself "Do I REALLY want what this event has to offer?" At the end of the day if you give yourself into a game too much you are going to get burnt out and not want to play anymore. You can love a game and take a break from it if the game starts to stress you out. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2wpbLKh
