"Niantic killed FOMO for medals. A quick breakdown of the new buddy medal and how long it will take you."

#PokemonGO: I have always been a fan of the medals, trying to get them and the fun goal of getting gold. Even when it is tedious like the smergle one. However the new medal is asking too much from us and should be reduced with the tiers being 1, 5, and 50 respectively. Even at 50 best buddies is going to be a crazy feat. but doable in a few years.The breakdown currently being, you are expected to get 10 hearts a day, or 20 if using poffins.Considering you need 300 hearts, that's 30 days (15 if you use poffins every single day; also considering bonus hearts from gifts and spinning a new stop) to get 1 best buddy. That would take you 3000 days to get the medal, aprox 8 years or half with poffins and ~1500$ spent.8 years to get a medal isn't a goal, its what just made me and many in my community stop caring about medals and grinding.
