"Shiny odds need to be disclosed for events."

#PokemonGO: Hey all, as Gengar/Nidorino raid day draws to a close in Eastern Australia, I wanted to share an anecdotal sample size. We had approximately 18 people raiding in my area, we hit 14 gyms total (then we called it quits). So 18 x 14 = 252. From those 252 shiny rolls on Gengar/Nidorino, our group walked away with a whopping 6 shinies. 4 Gengar and 2 Nidorino. Whilst I understand it's all RNG and someone, somewhere in the world is bound to have bad luck. But to me, this did not seem like a normal raid day event where the rates are approximated at 1/10. This seemed, much ... much worse. Upon looking at my local discord as well, only 6 other people have posted any shinies.Which brings me to my point - Shiny odds seriously need to be disclosed for these type of events. I'm tired of throwing money at a game, where I don't know what the actual probability of receiving something is.Niantic, please. Do the right thing by your players. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/38ca9R6
