"Gen 5. Love it? Or hate it? And why?"

I had just finished playing Gen 5 (Black and White) on my DS after hearing about how much hate it usually gets. I wanted to figure out if my love for the 5th generation was actually love for the game, or just nostalgia. And that was (in my opinion) the best Pokémon game I've ever played. So do you like gen 5?
