"My experience of Incense Day"

#PokemonGO: I pretty much played the whole six hours from home because the country is in lockdown. I did head out to get more balls nearby, combining it with my daily exercise.-One spawn per minute is absolutely insane. Be prepared with balls. I lost so many to jumps and attacks.-During the Water hour, I found that Sentret were about two-thirds to half of the spawns but it really tapered off during the Grass and Bug hour. I started to get more during the Ground hour.-I caught every single Sentret and came away with one shiny. No other shiny Pokemon. I should add that I only caught the shiny Pokemon I didn't have which is pretty much most of the spawns. I did not catch Pokemon that have had a Community Day so I wouldn't run out of balls.-Spawns (I'm bound to have forgotten some):Water: Poliwag, Tentacruel, Spheal, Psyduck, starters.Fire (weather boosted): Vulpix, Growlithe, Pontya, Houndour, starters.Grass (weather boosted): Lileep, Roselia, Oddish, Sunkern, starters.Psychic (weather boosted): Exeggcute, Slowpoke, Baltoy, Bronzor, Natu. Drowzee, SpoinkBug: Weedle, Ledyba, Wurmple, Skorupi, AnorithGround (weather boosted): Hippopotas, Geodude, Onix, Cubone, Sandshrew, Barboach, Diglett, Wooper-Out of the "if you're Lucky Pokemon", I got: 1 Clamperl 2 Litwick 2 Ferroseed 4 Gothita 4 Joltik 3 Drilbur-I had to really rely on balls from gifts - I had a lot saved from the day before so I could open two gifts from the same friend during the six hours (that is if they sent me another). Quite a few times I received no balls from gifts.Wishes:-With Community Day next week, I truly wish our buddy were able to fetch gifts from stops for this event. It would have helped immensely. I had to reach out to people on Discord to send me gifts if they were able to.-Six hours was too long. I realise I didn't have to play for the whole duration but there was always some Pokemon I wanted from each hour. FOMO struck again for me.If this event were to come around again, would I play the same way I did? Not as intently. One spawn per minute for six hours was definitely overkill. Balls became such an issue. Next time I'd leave a lot of the Pokemon that I commonly see in the wild. I don't think any of the Pokemon had shiny boosts and I'll know that for next time.
