"What I learned about Gamefreak"

- They capitalize on Gen 1 just to attract / gain back old fans, where there are new fans enjoying the series and want something fresh- They attempt to take down sites where they provide roms of the previous gens, but does not promote them in their eShop- There are many talented employees / artists / programmers in their ranks yet does not fully utilize their maximum capability.- They do not like / do not learn from fanmade games, that ultimately give fresh takes on the franchise, and they stick with what they like, even if it would bring them down to mediocrity and irrelevancy.SwSh is the product of this paradox; where there were many good ideas, fresh mechanics, and exciting sensations that would supposedly be in the game, but gets overwhlemed by the game's mediocrity.
