"BTW with Isle of Armor you can lowkey become a Gym Leader."

Once you beat Mustard in the Isle of Armor you unlock restrictive sparring, which is a 3 v 3 fight with a random challenger. The catch is that all 3 of your pokemon have to be the same type, so 3 steel types, 3 water types, 3 ground types, etc. For your first few battles the opponents have random pokemon, but as you progress the opponents start using pokemon strong against your type. So if you are a Steel type trainer, the opponents will begin to use Fighting, Ground, and Fire types. This replicates the gym leader experience, as they have to fight with 1 type while having tools to combat their weaknesses.I know that many people aren't thrilled with the Isle of Armor, but I honestly love this mode. If I were to hazard a guess 95% of pokemon players have thought about what pokemon they would use in a gym, and now we have a way to do it! Ofc we have to fight in the dojo, but nevertheless it is a new and cool experience! via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/37QqaOa
