"Pokémon Diamond and Pearl apparently had a decreased Pokémon spawn rate on 9/11"

Since the code for DP was mined earlier this month, apparently they found out that the spawn rate of Pokémon was affected by real world events. On September 11th, August 9th (Bombing of Nagasaki), and August 6th (bombing of Hiroshima), Pokémon spawned 10% less than normal. Culture Day, Christmas, and New Years Eve had a 5% less than normal spawn. Alternatively, July 4th, Christmas Eve, and St. Patrick’s Day (and others listed in the source below) had an INCREASED spawn rate. I actually think that’s really neat!Source: https://ift.tt/2UdR3pZ via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/36Zp7vb
