#PokemonGO: I myself have a 100% party hat gengar, and was considering Elite TMing it for its now decent pvp move, shadow punch.I was considering the mindgames of people thinking there's no way that lunatic would elite TM a party hat gengar and so shield the bait and thought myself a genius.Only to then realise per the new trend with hatted pokemon, they are unable to evolve! My guess to why they've started to do this is because they simply don't want to create the hatted sprites for every single hatted evolution every time they release a new hat variant, they likely see the effort involved not worth the payout. It would most certainly suck to never be able to mega-evolve my gengar because it has a hat and there's no sprite for a hatted mega gengar.So when Mega evolutions do finally come out, avoid spending any resources on a hatted mon if any more that can mega evolve get given a hat/costume. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/3eOdGIR
