"Primal Kyogre should have gained Electric type"

Upon Primal Reversion, Groudon gains Fire type. The “lore” explanation I guess being that lava/magma is used to create land, therefore it has fire typing along with ground. This is cool and all, and if it wasn’t for its ability, Water types would destroy it. Upon Primal Reversion, Kyorge...gets bigger and prettier? They both have this glowy thing going on inside their body. I’m guessing this is the energy they normally hide. In Groudon it looks like magma or fire. With a slight redesign I think Kyorge should have gained electric abilities. It has a clear advantage over Groudon. And I like when pairs have some advantage over each other. Abilities aside I think electric would make the perfect type pairing to go with a ground/fire typing of its adversary. Also it would make sense lore wise since it summoned storms to flood the earth. All good storms have lightning right? Plus could you imagine a STAB Thunder coming from that beast? Would that make it too OP, or too underpowered? I realize it definitely wouldn’t help in its fight against Groudon, but if it goes Primal last, it’s dominating that Primal Groudon anyway. What do you guys think? via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/3iqptzf
