"Request for Data: Just do one thing this Monday Morning"

#PokemonGO: With adventure sync rolling out this week, I want to put an observation to the test. As I can only do it weekly, I'll need some help. With even just a couple dozen people doing this, we can be absolutely sure this is current state of things.Disable your location prior to launching the game after 9am Monday. Launch the game, let it load all the way, and collect your AS rewards, all without having location on.If anyone collects any eggs, that'd be amazing to see.I report this because old behavior with AS was it would not give you the rewards until after your phone established location and the map was loading. This changed recently, and I've noticed I've not gotten AS eggs - the only 2 weeks I've ever missed eggs (when otherwise eligible per distance / open slots) occurred in the last month. The first time I hadn't a clue why, the second time I saw that my location wasn't found thanks to having just fired up the game in a parking garage. I suspect that because location isn't found, the game skips giving eggs entirely as it can't assign a location to the eggs.I'm not saying these are current mechanics, I'm just hypothesizing that they are, and want to put them to the test. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2Yov5Cn
